Monotypes

Most of my printmaking uses the monotype technique. This involves inking up a flat, smooth sheet of acrylic (the plate). The image is created on the plate using cotton buds, pieces of cotton sheet, old brushes, in fact, anything that will make a textural mark. Ink diluted with oil is also painted onto the plate. When the images is ready it is printed on a press onto slightly damp paper. Each print is unique. The prices are all for unframed prints.
